Get More Flowers Organically

Wednesday, July 11, 2012
Freshen up the mulch around the annuals and keep the soaker hose handy in case rainfall is inadequate to keep up with these fast growing plants. If annuals like coleus and Joseph’s coat that we grow for their patterned leaves need a boost, give them the same treatment. Pinch out the tops of each plant, especially coleus that wants to bloom, and drench them with WWV Tea to put their bright colors and designs back into your garden for months to come. It’s simple enough to do, and another way to show yourself and the neighbors that organic works!
